Description
The Chambers monument is a chest tomb from the 17th century located about 2.5 metres east of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Margaret. It is accompanied by two headstones from the 18th century. The monument is made of Ham stone and features a base that is buried, plain sides, a deep frieze moulding, and cyma-recta coving on the fleet top with rounded leading edges. The tomb commemorates the Chambers family, although no death date is visible. The headstones are not identifiable but have plain panels on their east faces and a carved scroll-shaped top.
