Description

This is a late 18th century house at the end of a row, originally two separate dwellings. It is constructed of ham stone rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring a Welsh slate roof over stone slate base courses. The roof extends to the east and has a coped gable to the west, with a central stone chimney stack. The two-storey, four-bay facade has hollow-chamfered mullioned windows of three lights, set within chamfered recesses without labels. Steel casements have been inserted into the first bay. The upper window in the second bay has been blocked, while the upper bay four contains a three-light timber casement. The lower bay one window is off-centre, with a former doorway to the left now partially blocked and containing a two-light casement. A 20th century part-glazed door is located in the lower bay three, set within a chamfered opening with a flat stone hood on brackets. Bay four incorporates timber garage doors beneath a timber lintol. The interior has not been inspected.
