Description
This is a terrace of three cottages built in the 18th century. The cottages are constructed from blue lias random rubble with a roughcast facade, except for the left end bay, which is not roughcast. They have a thatched roof that is half hipped to the left, with brick stacks: one set in the left bay, one at the right gable end, and two in the center. The cottages are arranged in two cell and cross passage units and rise to two storeys with seven bays.
On the first floor, there are a mix of two- and three-light wooden casement windows. The ground floor features three-light metal casement windows flanking the entrance to No 20, two- and three-light wooden casement windows flanking the entrance to No 22, and a two-light window to the left of No 26. The left end bay, which is not roughcast, has a door and a two-light casement window with brick lintels. All doors are 19th-century plank doors. The cottages are listed primarily for their group value with Nos 33, 35, and 39 located opposite.
