Description
This building is a cottage from the 18th century, constructed with red sandstone and blue lias random rubble, and roughcast on the left return. It features a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the right, with brick stacks located at the left gable end and to the right of the cross passage. The layout consists of two cells and a cross passage, with an outshot at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays; the first floor has two-light casement windows in the outer bays and a three-light window in the centre right, all with leaded panes. On the ground floor, there is a similar two-light casement window to the left of the entrance and a wooden two-light casement window to the right. The entrance features a central plank door with a stone slab pentice supported by wooden brackets. The outshot is made of blue lias and covered with plain tiles. The interior has not been viewed.
