Description

Rose Cottage is an early 19th-century house with a later extension. It is constructed of local stone, squared and cut, with Welsh slate roofs and brick chimney stacks. The East elevation has two storeys and three bays. It features 25-pane sash windows on the ground floor and 20-pane sash windows above, set in plain openings with slightly segmental voussoired heads. A projecting stone and tiled porch sits in front of the middle bay. A single-storey extension to the North gable has a 20th-century door and a casement window. The interior was not inspected. This building has group value from its contribution to the wider historic environment.
