Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1673, with later modifications. It is built from local stone rubble that is coursed, and features a plain clay tile roof with coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys with an attic and consists of four bays. The horizontal bar casement windows are located under exposed timber lintels, showing traces of old label moulds, and there is a continuous string course over bays two to four. A six-panel door is situated in bay three, accompanied by a flat-roofed porch, and above it is a plaque indicating the date 1673. The north gable contains a two-light 17th-century framed timber window, while the south gable has 20th-century windows. The interior has not been seen.
