Description
Lydeard Farmhouse is a 15th-century farmhouse with 17th-century elements, largely rebuilt in the early 19th century. The farmhouse has roughcast walls and a triple Roman tile roof, with brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring 20th-century two-light casement windows. A projecting, pent-roofed porch contains a semi-circular-headed doorway, and an inner doorway with a six-panelled door. The interior includes a good 17th-century staircase with turned balusters and a pendant.
