Description

A pair of shops in a row, originally houses, dating from around 1900. The buildings are constructed of Doulting stone ashlar with a Welsh slate roof, featuring plain gables and brick chimney stacks. The buildings are three storeys high and comprise four bays in total, with the bays at number 21 being wider than those at number 19. The upper floors have 12 and 9-pane sash windows in simple surrounds. The ground floors contain early 20th-century shopfronts. Number 21 has double doors recessed centrally, with a four-panel door and plain fanlight to the left. Number 19 has a single door to the left, and shop windows with 18 panes. The buildings are primarily listed for their contribution to the group value of the street.
