Description
Boxbush Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located on Boxbush Hill in East Pennard. The building is constructed of rubble, which was largely overgrown with ivy at the time of the last survey in May 1986. It features copings to the verges and brick stacks, one of which has a stone base, topped with thatch. The farmhouse is designed in an L-plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. It has three and four-light wooden-mullioned windows, although 19th-century casements have been inserted. The door opening is positioned to the right and has a plank floor. There is a single-storey outshut to the left, also thatched, with a 20th-century two-light casement. The right return of the building includes "eyebrow" windows on the first floor.
