Entrance gateway to Brympton House, about 35 m south-west of High Leaze Farmhouse

Entrance gateway. Probably C18. Raw stone ashlar, with some cut and squared work. Two bold convex curved sweep walls about 1.2 m high, with angled stone copings, plain ends, framing entrance gateway: piers-about 5 m apart; square plan, about 3.5 m tall, having cavetto mould caps, two steps and ball finials - side walls sweep up to piers. Gates missing.
