Description
This dovecote, located about 20 meters south of Halswell House, dates from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with some roughcast and features an ogival slate roof. At the apex, there is an open turret with an arcade of turned balusters and a zinc cupola. The east side has a small door opening. Inside, the dovecote is completely lined with nesting holes for birds.
