Description
The Studdier monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 3 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Michael. It dates from 1599 and commemorates Richard Studdier. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features a simple oblong shape resting on a moulded plinth, with a slab top that is chamfered around the lower edge. The principal inscription is found on the west end, while there is a further inscription on the north side that is much decayed.
