PEN SELWOOD CP Unidentified chest tomb, 2 metres East of South Porch, Churchyard of Church St Michael and All Angels

Chest tomb. Probably C17 reused. Doulting stone; tall moulded base, plain slab sides and flanks, moulded slightly hipped top with chamfered corners. Inscriptions lost, but date 1779 just discernable on South side; on North face 2-recessed panels with incised decoration, badly weathered and inscriptions gone.
