Description

Arundel House is a house that was also a hotel at the time of listing, dating from the early 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior, a low-pitched hipped slate roof, and wide eaves with brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The first floor has 16-pane sash windows, while the ground floor includes French windows with glazing bars and marginal lights. The central door is set within an elliptical-headed surround and has double three-panelled doors along with a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars. There is a glazed verandah across the ground floor supported by ornamental wrought iron.
