Description

This is a pair of gate piers located at the former entrance to the driveway leading to Babington House, next to Charity Cottage. They were built in the early 18th century and are made of rusticated ashlar stone. The piers feature moulded caps and stone ball finials, as well as plinths that have carved square panels with a central lozenge design.
