Description

This is a house dating from around the early 19th century, with later 19th-century extensions. It is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble with stone dressings, and has a pantile roof with stone coping to the gable ends and the side of a rear outshut.

The house has a principal room on either side of a central entrance. In the 19th century, 2-storey outshuts were added to the rear, and converted outbuildings are attached to the sides, but these are not included in the listing.

The south front is symmetrical, with three windows. It features stone window frames, later 19th-century sash windows with vertical glazing bars, and a central doorway with a pedimented stone frame and a panelled door with glazed upper panels. The rear roof extends over a 2-storey outshut, which has various casement windows and a glazed door at its centre.

The interior is believed to retain some original chimney pieces.
