Description
No. 10 Sadler Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It features an early to mid 19th century facade that covers an earlier property. The building is rendered with a hipped clay pantiled roof that has a ridge running at right angles to the street, and it includes a brick chimney stack.
The exterior consists of three storeys with a single bay 19th century shop front on the ground floor. This shop front has slim rendered pilasters on either side of a later half-glazed door, which is set back one step to the left. There is also a 28-pane bow window and a slim fascia above, although it lacks a cornice. The upper floors are fitted with 4-pane sash windows in simple openings, topped by a plain parapet. To the left of the first-floor window, there is a projecting hanging sign on a wrought-iron bracket.
The interior has not been inspected.
