Offices in former house. C17 and later. Local stone rubble with some ashlar, triple roll clay tiled roof between coped gables, with ridge at right angles to facade, brick chimney stack. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, single bay. Ground floor has an adopted 6-panel door now part-glazed, in heavy frame with timber architrave, above is a composite sash window of 18+18 panes, with thick glazing bars, set in the deepened former surround to a 3- or 4-light stone mullioned window, the mouldings, much worn, may be reverse chamfer. INTERIOR: not inspected. This building connected to No.3 Market Place, (qv).
