Description

The Midland Bank is a house with a shop that has been converted into offices. It features an early to mid 19th century facade that covers an earlier building. The exterior is rendered with a false ashlar lining and is colourwashed, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof that has a ridge running at right angles to the street, along with brick chimney stacks.

The building is three storeys high and has two narrow bays. The ground floor has a late 19th century shop front, which is now enclosed, featuring a simple display window in the first bay and a doorway leading up two steps in the second bay, equipped with a 20th century door and a plain rectangular fanlight. The upper floors are adorned with 12-pane sash windows that have timber architraves. The interior has not been inspected.
