Description

The gateway to the east of the south lawn of Barrington Court was built around 1921-1925 by the architects Forbes and Tate for A.A. Lyle. It features a tall pair of panelled ashlar piers topped with obelisk finials. On each side, there is a short section of ramped rubble walling. The gateway itself is adorned with elaborate wrought-iron work.
