Description

Park View Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a pantile roof with gabled ends, although the tiles have been stripped for refelting. The building features a brick gable end stack.

The plan consists of two rooms with a central entrance, and there may be a small service room at the back. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic, which includes a window in the gable end. The southeast front is almost symmetrical and has two windows, each with two-light casements and glazing bars. There is a doorway to the right of centre that has a plank door, and all openings have wooden lintels. The northeast gable end has blocked windows, while the rear features a single two-light casement window at the centre of the ground floor. There is a 20th-century wooden outshut on the southwest end. The interior has not been inspected.
