Description

This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard, 27 metres west of the porch of the Church of St Mary in Berkley. It is made of Doulting stone with lias stone panels. The tomb features a moulded plinth, fielded pilasters, and a frieze. The panels that once held an inscription are now lost. The top of the tomb is moulded and hipped.
