Shop 8 Metres East Of Norman House

This is a shop with a house, likely built in the late 18th century and modified over time. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, with the ground floor rendered and colourwashed. The roof is plain clay tile with a shallow pitch, featuring a stepped coped gable on the west side and an abutment on the east side, along with brick end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the upper floor, there are 12-pane sash windows set under dovetailed stone lintels with keystones. The shopfront below includes a two-unit display window with a bracketed hood over the fascia in the first bay. Spanning the second and third bays is a segmental arched throughway, with an entrance featuring a 20th-century glazed door set in a Regency pattern architrave. The interior has not been seen.
