Description
This building is a house and shop from the early 19th century, located between Norman House and Blake House on Bow Street in Langport. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and is colourwashed, topped with a clay pantiled roof that has an abutment to the west and a stepped coped gable to the east. The building features brick chimney stacks. It has two storeys and three bays. The upper storey has sash windows with 12 panes in the central bay and 9 panes in the outer bays. On the ground floor, there are plain shop windows in the first and second bays, with a 20th-century part glazed door to the left of the first bay. To the right of the third bay, there is a flat arched throughway with a rendered surround. The building is primarily noted for its contribution to the streetscape.
