ILTON CP CHURCH ROAD (East side, off) Pair of monuments in churchyard, about 25 metres south west of nave, Church of St. Peter

GV II Pair of chest tombs, both C18.

(a) East tomb: Ham stone; base buried; one fielded panel each face, with three-panel pilasters each flank, no frieze; moulded coving to hipped top having rounded leading edges. Inscriptions not legible.

(b) West tomb: Ham stone; moulded base; panels with wave-mould frames, one each end and two each flank, with fluted pilasters to flanks; moulded coving to hipped top having rounded leading edges. Commemorates members of the Brom family, including Philip, died 1742.
