Description

The North East boundary wall, located 50 metres from Horsington House Hotel, is a boundary wall that likely dates from the mid 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble and ashlar, extending approximately 70 metres in length. The wall features a coursed rubble base that stands about 1.25 metres high, topped with a moulded plinth. It includes ashlar piers and panels, which are adorned with heavily moulded cappings and ball finials on the piers. This wall is significant as it contributes to the setting of both Horsington House and the Church of St. John the Baptist.
