Description

This is an 18th-century barn located about 35 metres south-west of Home Farmhouse. It is constructed of Ham stone in a near-ashlar style, with concrete imitation stone slates between coped gables. The north elevation features seven bays and has storeys at the west end, with an eaves course. There is a central semi-circular archway flanked by buttresses with offsets, and pairs of slit vents on the sides. The barn has window openings at both levels with segmental arched voussoired heads. The building has a monopitch roof against the east boys in the west gable, which includes a plain doorway below and a semi-circular arched doorway above, with no approach steps. There is also a lean-to building on the south side. The interior is not accessible.
