Description

The walls and gate piers to the east of The Hollies date from around 1840. The gate piers are made of Bath stone and feature banded rustication with swept pyramidal caps. They have late 19th-century wooden jambs that have round tops and recessed trefoils. A rubblestone wall rises to the left gate pier and continues at that height along the left return. Although the railings along the front are hidden by a hedge, the right return has a pointed archway. The gates have been removed. This structure is included for its group value.
