Description

This stable was built around 1820, likely as part of the Highfield House estate. It is constructed from Doulting rubble with a slate roof. The stable is rectangular, with its main frontage facing the rear of Park Road. It is two stories high, featuring two segmental-arched doorways on the ground floor, and with an irregular arrangement of windows. A broad segmental-arched doorway with a moulded stone architrave and double carriage doors is present on the left return. The rear elevation is largely blank, acting as a boundary wall along Park Road.
