Description
Heathfield Lodge is a house built in the 1840s and enlarged around 1930. It has a rendered exterior over brick and features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and soffit board, as well as brick stacks that rise from the eaves. The building is double-pile with a two-bay addition on the left side, which is not of special interest. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays, with sixteen-paned sash windows. The central entrance consists of panelled double doors with inserted lights and panelled reveals, topped by a fanlight with radiating bars. This is sheltered by a flat-roofed porch supported by paired Doric columns and features a panelled soffit. The two-bay right return is partly made of painted brick. Notably, the house does not appear on the tithe map from 1840.
