Description
The Methodist Chapel, dated 1846, is a disused building constructed of red sandstone random rubble, with a rendered left return and brick dressings, topped by a slate roof. The chapel features a three-bay plan and is adjacent to a row of cottages that are not included in this listing. It is a single-storey structure with pointed arch window openings that have divided tracery heads and mid-20th century obscured glass. There are two windows to the left and one to the right of the pointed arch doorway, which has a plank door. A tablet is set between the first and second bays on the left, inscribed with "Bible Christian Chapel Built AD 1846". The chapel is listed primarily for its historic interest.
