Description

Verrington Lodge is a late 18th-century house located on the south side of Verrington Lane in Wincanton. The house is constructed of local stone rubble, which has been colourwashed, with a plain clay tile roof and simple gables. Brick chimney stacks are positioned at the ends and between the bays. It has a double roof plan.

The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It features 12-pane sash windows set within flat arch voussoired openings. The lower window in the third bay has been altered to a single-light casement. Doormats are positioned between the bays, featuring semi-circular arched openings. The left door is a six-panel door with a glazed toplight, while the right door is boarded, both topped with a plain fanlight. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
