Description
The Mary Higgins monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 25 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Peter. It dates from 1770 and is made of dressed stone. The tomb has a classic oblong shape with a buried plinth, corner pilasters, and a central pilaster on both the north and south sides. The top is a slab with a torus moulded edge. The inscriptions on the north and west sides are much decayed.
