Description
The Elim Pentecostal Church is a late 18th-century house in a row that has been partly converted for religious use. The building is rendered with simulated ashlar jointing and stone dressings, colourwashed, and has a Welsh slate Mansard roof behind coped gables, along with ashlar chimney stacks. It has a double-depth plan. The exterior features a plinth, end pilasters, a dentilled cornice, and a plain parapet. The roof has a double pitch. The building is two storeys high with attics, and has seven bays. It contains plain sash windows with exposed sash boxes in plain openings. An entrance is located in the fourth bay, featuring a 20th-century door set within a stone surround with attached Ionic columns supporting a full entablature and pediment. Flat-roofed dormers with six-pane sash windows are set behind the parapet in bays two, four, and six. The interior was not inspected.
