Description
This granary, located about 50 metres north of Fairfield House, dates from the 18th century. It features a base made of blue lias random rubble, with a weather-boarded first floor and a hipped roof covered in pantiles. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall. On the south side, there is a square-headed entrance on the first floor, which is accessed by a detached flight of stone steps that may have been added in the 19th century. The front of the building has louvred openings, while the north front includes double doors at ground level and a plant door on the east front. This granary is depicted on a late 18th-century estate map held at Fairfield House.
