The house is constructed of coursed and squared lias rubble, featuring wide bracketed eaves and a hipped slate roof with rubble stacks. The front elevation is plain and symmetrical, displaying two storeys and three bays. It has nine-pane sash windows on the first floor and twelve-pane sash windows on the ground floor. A central entrance features a six-panelled door surmounted by a fanlight with radiating glazing bars. An eighteen-pane stair light is visible on the right return. The principal rooms on the ground floor have window shutters.
