Description
There are three chest tombs located 5 metres south of the south door of the Church of St Michael. These tombs date from the 18th and 19th centuries and are made of dressed Doulting stone. Each tomb features panelled ends and sides that are divided by pilaster strips. One of the tombs has semi-circular arch infills. Two of the tombs have hipped tops, while the third has a slab top with moulded edges. The memorials are dedicated to Jane Davie, who passed away in 1810; John Paves, who died in 1702; and the third dedication is illegible.
