Description

Cridlands is a house dating from the 17th century, which has been largely rebuilt to its original design in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble with Ham stone dressings and features a slate roof that has a slight upturn. There are stone stacks at the left and right gabled ends and to the right of the entrance. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The first floor includes three-light stone mullions with leaded panes, while the ground floor has a four-centred arch doorway with a plank and stud door, flanked by five-light and four-light windows. All these elements have square-headed drip moulds and were rebuilt in the mid-20th century.
