Description
Tudor and Manor Farm Cottages, formerly Lynford Farmhouse, date from the 17th or early 18th century. The building is positioned at right angles to Woodland Road and consists of two storeys, with a later single-storey stable range extending forward from the right side. The exterior is finished in colourwashed roughcast and features a pantile roof, along with chimney stacks topped with flat cowls. There are four windows, mostly with wooden lintels, including primarily two-light casements of various sizes and one four-light window. A glazed door is centrally located, and there are lean-to extensions at the rear. The stable range is constructed of brick and has old pantile roofs, with a variety of wooden doors. Tudor and Manor Farm Cottages, the stable range to the right, and a detached outbuilding form a cohesive group.
