Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 13 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Michael in Somerton. It is made of Ham stone with panels of Keinton stone. The base is buried, and there is a plain surround to the square panels, with one panel at each end and two on each side. The tomb features a deep cove-moulded hipped top. Unfortunately, all inscriptions on the tomb have been lost.
