Description

The Collins-Higdon tomb, located 3 metres east of the southeast corner of the Church of St Mary, is a chest tomb from the 18th century. It is made of Bath stone and has an oblong shape with plain sides resting on a moulded base. The top is moulded and hipped. The tomb bears the family names of Collins and Higdon, with inscriptions indicating deaths in 1765 and 1777, although these inscriptions are much worn.
