Description

This hand pump, located about 10 meters south-west of Brendon Cottage, dates from around 1870 and was made by Allen and Co in Taunton. It is constructed from cast iron and features a circular column with a fluted head, a curved jointed handle, and a slightly fluted nozzle. The top of the pump is fluted, although the finial is missing. It is listed primarily for its historic interest.
