Description

The gatepiers at Buckland Farm date from the early 18th century and are constructed of red brick with ashlar Ham stone dressing. They are square in shape, standing about 2.5 meters high, and are topped with ball finials. At the time of the survey in January 1984, the gatepiers were noted to be in poor condition. These piers mark the entrance to the property now known as Buckland House and are part of a group that includes the walled garden, which also belongs to Buckland House and is located to the south.
