Description
The churchyard gate piers, gate, and steps located 10 metres east of the east end of Christ Church were built in the mid-19th century. They consist of a pair of tall square gate piers made of ashlar, topped with cross gabled caps featuring crochets. The wrought iron gate has rails, each adorned with spear heads. There are four dressed stone steps leading up to the gate, with a plain wrought iron handrail on each side. This gateway provides access to Daubrey House from Christ Church.
