Description

The Berry monument is a chest tomb located about one metre south of the nave of the Church of St James in Chillington. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The base is buried, and the tomb features plain sides and flanks, with chamfered coving leading to a plain, flat top. It commemorates William Berry, who died in 1660.
