Description

The remains of a churchyard cross are located about 2.5 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St John. This medieval cross features a square socket that has been shaped into an octagon, which is set within a later octagonal stone surround. A flower bed surrounds the socket. The condition of the cross was noted as decayed in 1877 by Pooley in his work "Old Crosses of Somerset."
