Description

The remains of a churchyard cross, dating from the 15th century, are located about 18 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. At the time of the survey in June 1984, the cross was noted to be in poor condition. It is made of red sandstone and features a three-stage calvary, with the lower two steps having drip moulds. The structure includes a tall octagonal socket and the stump of an octagonal shaft, standing approximately 3 metres high.
