Description

The Old Rectory is an early 19th-century rectory, now used as a dwelling. It is constructed with roughcast over rubble, featuring a pyramid slate roof with overhanging eaves and soffit boards. A central brick stack rises from the roof, while the service wing has a hipped slate roof. The building follows a double-pile plan facing east, with a service wing at the rear.

The east front has two storeys and three bays. First-floor windows are 16-pane sashes. The ground floor features lead-roofed bay windows with 16-pane sashes. A central 6-panel door is set beneath a rectangular light, and is sheltered by a flat-roofed wooden porch with a lead roof and half-glazed double doors. The left return has two 16-pane sashes on the first floor and a 16-pane sash window on the ground floor to the left. Contemporary French windows are located on the right side of the ground floor, with the service wing set back to the rear.
