Description
Martlets is a 17th-century house located on Middle Street in Shepton Beauchamp. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, with some plaster and colourwash on the first floor, and features a thatched roof with two brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with three and four-light casements that include iron moveable lights and square-paned leaded lights. The entrance is situated between the first and second bays, framed by a heavy wooden architrave, and is accessed through a plank door.
