Description
This is a farmhouse dating to circa 1700. It is constructed of coursed and squared Ham stone with a tile roof and coped verges, one of which features a ball finial. The building is two storeys high and has a 1:3 bay arrangement. It features stone-mullioned windows with 3 and 4 lights, set within moulded stone architraves. A continuous string course runs above the ground floor window heads. The windows have casement openings, some with decorative iron quadrants. A door opening is set within a stone architrave, and the door itself is a studded plank door fitted with strap hinges. On the left return, there are two similar 3-light windows and a door with a 4-panelled door, all accessed via a late 19th-century Jacobean style ashlar porch. A late 19th-century wing extends at right angles to the rear, incorporating brick dressings.
